An argument in Federal Court has of late broke out amongst a pair of major online dating sites
Both online dating web sites are fighting it out in Manhattan’s Federal Court, where Anastasia International has accused EM Online Ltd. dba Elena’s Models with fake advertising, abuse of Anastasia’s brand and an attempt at fabrication of fictitious testimonials against the site. Anastasia is a U.S based dating organization, while EM Online is an Australian based online dating website. Both, nonetheless, concentrate on the United States market. Consequently, one could find out how both are fighting for the exact same market.
“The organization leading this particular court case, Anastasia, offer a service by which men from the United States are matched up with women from Russia or Ukraine. The most targeted section of the U,S is The Big Apple”, declares the report. “EM Online directly intrudes upon Anastasia’s market. As a result of our analysis, it has become clear that ‘anastasiadatefraud’ and ‘ruadventures.com’ are both websites developed by Elena’s Models to place a stain on Anastasia’s reputation . The websites’ owners can not be determined a result of a proxy service being used, which makes things suspicious understandably. Even so, they direct people to the elenasmodels.com website. These websites accuse Anastasiadate of thoroughly perpetuating frauds and fake deceptions upon its clients, and then recommend that the clients use Elena’s Models, which allegedly does not follow these methods. “The anastasiadatefraud.com website purports to show extracts from e-mails authored by women with profiles on Anastasiadate.com. The e-mail extracts all have a typical message – the ladies featured on Anastasiadate.com are not truly looking for a relationship with men from the United States, but instead are contract employees paid to correspond with Anastasia customers and break their hearts. The emails look to be quite fake, and so anastasiadatefraud.com may be charged with false advertisement. Anastasiadate’s clients are guaranteed that the women they’re chatting with are 100% genuine women.”
The complaint says that EM Online are voluntarily false advertising, simply because they know that what they are saying is bogus, and that the e-mails were composed with the only intent of wrongly ceasing Anastasiadate’s business. Quite unjustly, Elena’s Models is using ruadventures.com to ward off any competition so that it can prosper at their expense. “While trying to hide beneath the cover of an independent, impartial forum site, ruadventures.com actually selectively picks out the positive comments about Elena’s Models and promotes that, while trying to throw other competition aside. Nothing about Anastasiadate is true on this site, since it is quite noticeable that the details have been meddled with to shed a negative light on Anastasiadate,” the complaint states.
According to Anastasia, ruadventures.com has also made illegitimate use of the branded logo design to attract customers. “Because of how search engines work, while using Anastasiadate’s trademarks has made ruadventures.com much more visible on Google, Yahoo, Bing and other search engines,” the accusation says. Anastasiadate, not surprisingly, are pressing for charges. It is represented by Richard C. Yeskoo with Yeskoo Hogan & Tamlyn.
Anastasiadate.com gives American men the opportunity to meet “some of the world’s most desirable ladies!” “Not one other international internet dating website comes close,” the site says. It identifies itself as “your most effective approach to a stack of replies, authentic and affectionate ladies, 24/7 customer satisfaction and security.”
On the anastasiadatefraud.com site, also looked at Thursday, an unknown author claims to tell readers “only the truth” about Anastasia date. He claims Anastasiadate pays third-party organizations to employ “girls” who are paid to connect with clients. He knows this just because a Ukrainian girl that had been chatting with him actually revealed these secrets. Women are promised a ton of money and decent work hours, just by chatting and emailing American men, by a third party company attached to Anastasiadate. The only listed qualifications are to be 18 or older, to understand English, and to understand how to use a computer, according to the website.
The woman could have been working for Elena’s Models, as she actually recommended the web page to him!
